Projects are selected based on their individual merit and once this is done we structure our support for them based on our assessment of how much support is required, how long it is required for and how much of this support can be provided by WEZIMBABWE. more
Zimfest
Zimfest was started as a fundraiser back in 2000 and on the surface this is all that it was. There is and always has been an underlying dynamic about Zimfest that has defined it as a programme. Zimfest is our single concerted effort to bring our country and our people together across racial, tribal, gender, religious and every other line that we have allowed ourselves to be divided by. From day one we have insisted that Zimfest be a celebration and not a lament because we believe as Zimbabweans we have much to celebrate. more
The WEZIMBABWE Scholarship Fund
With our new Scholarship Fund we encourage excellence by offering a small number of scholarships for “A” level study at some of the best schools in Zimbabwe. Unlike our previous fund where we focused on volume we recognise that we will help fewer kids this way but strongly believe that this approach is the best fit for our capacity and is the right platform for growth in this area. As we see it the limit in numbers is temporary as we build the capacity to run this project well more
